Broaden your horizons

“If you resist reading what you disagree with, how will you ever
acquire deeper insights into what you believe? The things most
worth reading are precisely those that challenge our convictions.”

In the spirit of this quotation, I recommend the UnSuggester by LibraryThing. It’s the polar opposite of “if you liked reading that, you’ll probably also like reading this.” Enter the title of a book you have read and enjoyed and UnSuggester will reply with books that you, and others with similar taste, are least likely to have read. Are you as open-minded as you think you are? Give it a try.

Cool! I didn’t know about that feature and have been fooling around with it longer than I had planned, of course!

    Thanks for that little gem.
