Live well, laugh often

He who hesitates is probably right.

The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

If you can’t be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

A penny saved is a government oversight.

The mind is like a parachute; it works much better when it’s open.

The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight, because your body and your fat become really good friends.

If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in mind to blame.

The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement.

Don’t assume malice for what stupidity can explain.

The sole purpose of a child’s middle name is so he can tell when he’s really in trouble.

Don’t believe everthing you think.

Spot on with the middle name one. Middle names say you’re in trouble. Adding the last name means BIG trouble. lol.

I started out by thinking I would thank you for your kind comments on my WordPress contest entry story. The I saw that I should really post to compliment you on your excellent taste in choosing a theme to use for your blog, but then I read this post and then I clicked on the “Why Giving Kids Markers for Christmas is a Terrible Idea” link and so I have now, multiple reasons for posting good things to you.

I think I may have to visit more often!

Thank you, fracas, my new like-minded friend. Please stop by any time. The door’s always open. 🙂
