Weird coincidence

November 23, 2006 at 1:35 pm 1 comment

Last night, I read a passage in a book (an aside, at most; not the main topic of the book) that mentioned Santa Cruz Island and how DDT and feral pigs had altered the ecosystem. This morning, I opened a magazine and there was an article about the very same issue. Weird, huh? I love it when stuff like that happens. Although I’m sure it could be proven that the odds are not astronomical, it still amazes me when I encounter this type of coincidence.

I love that too. I don’t need to know what the odds are.
