I think I ought to make a set of these. More or less embarrassing than using a fork?

hahah, thats funny.
I’ve seen another pair called a “Teaching Sticks”
(picture can be seen here : http://www.koamart.com/images/products/2975_thumb.gif)
I love chopsticks, and often use them at home for fun.
In february, I taught my mother in law how to use them. But by the end of the meal she was back to a fork and knife.
When we go for sushi at work – I always bring my own chop sticks. They come in a beautiful silk case. . . .

I have never been able to eat properly with chopsticks. This is exactly what I need.

Did you ever try the ones made with rubber bands at the ends and a folded up piece of paper in the middle to make a fulcrum? My local Japanese restaurant makes them for the kids. They work great!!
